Heidi Miller

Director and Senior Physiotherapist

Heidi Miller graduated from Otago University in 1998 with a Batchelor of Physiotherapy. She worked as a physiotherapist at Palmerston North Hospital before moving to the United Kingdom.

In England, Heidi worked in a number of hospitals in Inpatient and Outpatient Neurorehabilitation. Part of her role was to help people with their mobility following a stroke or with conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis.

During this time Heidi gained a wealth of knowledge of different treatment techniques and interventions that can be used to rehabilitate people with neurological conditions by attending numerous courses (such as Pilates, Spasticity Management, FES, Motor Relearning, Bobath, orthotic prescription) and working alongside very experienced physiotherapists.

Heidi lived in the UK for 12 years spending her last 8 years working as the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Neurology for County Durham and Darlington PCT.

Since returning to NZ Heidi has worked in Wellington and the North Shore in both the public (Waitemata DHB) and private sector.

Heidi is extremely passionate about her profession. She loves working with people with Neurological problems as she finds the major impact you can have on peoples lives very rewarding.
